Hey there! I'm Danielle, one of the 4 therapists here at Philadelphia MFT. My passion in life is helping people get UNSTUCK from the patterns that have been holding them back. By identifying those negative patterns and how they are weighing you down in your life, relationships, career, etc., I can help you confront them head on. Coming to this website means that you're sick and tired of letting your life run you, and not having it be the other way around. You're ready to make a change, and I'm here to help.
Danielle Massi, LMFT is a practicing therapist in Philadelphia. She received her Master's Degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University with a concentration in Sex Therapy. Her areas of expertise include parenting concerns, relationship issues, quarter-life crisis and pre-marital counseling. Danielle practices Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Danielle graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience from Temple University. While at Temple, she worked at the Tuttleman Counseling Center as a peer counselor trained in conflict resolution and Transformative Mediation. She went on to study at Thomas Jefferson University's Couple and Family Therapy program with a specialization in Sex Therapy. Danielle interned at the Council for Relationships at both the University City and Institute for Sex Therapy offices while earning her Master's Degree.
When she's not in the office, Danielle works as an adjunct professor at Penn State University's Brandywine campus teaching courses in the Human Development and Family Studies / Psychology department.
Danielle uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide her clients with creative perspectives on difficult issues. She strives to provide a safe and open environment to best help clients discover alternative solutions to troubling problems they may be facing.
