Making your relationship better does not always have to be a huge ordeal. These easy to use tips can have an immediate impact, and they are all centered around your bedroom.
1. No television in the bedroom
I know this suggestion is not always met with enthusiasm, but consider the benefits. Eliminating television will force you and your partner to connect with one another without distraction. Also, you should associate your bedroom with intimacy, not thoughts of American Horror Story (there is nothing sexy about Twisty the clown).
2. No children/pets in the bedroom
While we all love to be with our children and pets as much as possible, it is hard to find something more damaging than allowing them in bed with you every night. Their bodies create a barrier between you and your partner, eliminating your ability to physically connect with one another.
3. Have a lock on your door
This may seem like a no-brainer, but the fear of someone walking in on you and your partner can put a damper on your sex life. Let your kids know that when the door is locked that you are busy and will attend to their needs once you are done.
